I can say humbly and without ego that I'm not your average musician. I started my musical training at the age of 5 under the stern tutelage of my father, himself a musician who played organ for Peg Leg Bates, Dinah Washington, Sammy Davis Jr. and so many others thru the years. I new from the start, I was a writer and producer. Always wanting to rearrange every tune I listened to, drove my dad crazy. We often bumped heads on direction, but in the end, my father was a session man and I was a writer. We knew without a doubt our love for music.
Music has allowed me to travel the world to perform for some amazing artists, some famous and some infamous. I walked away with some great times. and awesome stories to share. I love to give back to the community, to share these experiences to inspire others. I am able to see, feel, listen, touch and meet my spirit in music. What a feeling to really know who is in that mirror when you stare into it. To know why you're here.
The Music
I'm often asked, why do you play the Hammond B-3?
I answer, this earthly sounding instrument moves me.
I may not play it on every song I write, but it's like a good friend, always there when you need them.
I've always felt a need to put pen to paper. To tell a story, to create something that is meaningful, memorable and hopefully treasured. The birth of my son many years ago, inspired me to write a couple of books. One for him and one for me. My son is way past the age for a children's book, but I hope he will be proud to read it to his children when the time comes. The one for me is a book of common sense thru my eyes. I'll keep you posted.

The Art
Don't think that I'm confined to just performing. Oh, no. I have been taking photographs for the past 20 years. I 'm blessed that people have been drawn to this vision. What started out as a hobby has grown into something I'm very proud of, enjoy.
